This is where you can freely download my Complete Piano Arrangement/Transcriptions of one of my all time favorite games by Nintendo, Super Mario Brothers series.
What I mean by "Complete Transcription" is that you won't find bits and pieces of music from the games. I have transcribed the whole game music as "suite" so you can download and print the scores out and make them into a book.
I have transcribed the Super Mario Brothers game series from SMB1 to SMB3, and the Super Mario World. The time that has taken me to transcribe all 4 game music was almost 2 years to complete. It was a time consuming task; listening to the music (mp3s, midis) over and over again, notating (Sibelius notation software) and editing so that it will look good on paper. But I did them out of sheer pleasure of the memorable music that Mr. Koji Kondo has given the game world.
I have made the scores to look as professional looking score as possible. And since I am a pianist, I made these transcriptions as close as possible to the original BGM but arranged them to my technical level. What I'm trying to say is that most of them are NOT easy.
I have found out that early this year (2009) my arrangements which are free to download from a few game music sites, have been "stolen" and plagiarized and were being sold on Ebay by THIS person calling himself master-sayien, which not only is MORALLY WRONG but also very ILLEGAL! He not only managed to delete all of my forward messages, but also completely deleted all of my name, my contact (i.e. email), and the original Japanese titles I have put on the music and replaced them with a name UTK 2007. He not only stole my hard work but gathered many other FREE game sheet music that are all over the net done by other fan-base arrangers and selling them as his own "professionally re-arranged" transcriptions. He has been confronted by me and other arrangers but he is still stealing and selling them on his Ebay site.
So, if you have bought these scores that you could have gotten for free, you have been ripped off. And if you are one of these people selling other people's work as your own for your profit, all I can really say is, please DON'T!
Well, with that said and done, enjoy the scores.
Philip Kim, the REAL arranger and transcriber of my complete SMB game series.
